Terraforming in Stellaris is slow and limited by tech. The planet_class command skips all of that: select a planet and change it into any class instantly — turn a barren rock into a Gaia world, or a rival's homeworld into a Tomb World. First, open the command console (~).
The planet_class command
The command acts on the currently selected celestial body, so click the planet first. Then run planet_class [class id]. To make it a Gaia world:

Finding planet class IDs
Planet class IDs all start with pc_ and the complete set — habitable worlds, stars, gas giants, asteroids and more — is on the Stellaris planet classes list.
Tips
- You must select the planet first — the command has no planet argument, it always targets the current selection.
- Changing a colonised world's class can leave pops with mismatched habitability;
pc_gaiaavoids that since every species thrives on Gaia worlds. - Cheats disable achievements for the session and don't work in Ironman.
