The dragon launches into a lengthy diatribe about the wisdom it has accumulated over the eons, and its observations regarding our attitude toward time and commitments - not to mention our still-pitiful knowledge of the fundamentals of the universe. Apparently it considers us young and reckless, and unworthy of this quest at present.

The command below will trigger the "Incoming Dragonspeak" event in Stellaris:

When this event fires, you can choose between the following option:

• Alas. We shall strive to be better.
  • The Dragon will approach us when it is ready.
  • Gain Unity
