The Fall of the Awakened

After a long and fierce conflict, the war that begun as a battle between two ancient empires has ended in the destruction of both. For all their ancient technological might, the arrogance and inflexibility of these ancient giants proved their undoing, and now they are gone, reduced to no more than another set of broken ruins of the past. A new age dawns on the galaxy, and from now on the fate of the younger races will be entirely their own to decide.
