Our trade route in the … system is poorly protected and passes through what has largely become lawless space. An increasing number of pirates, smugglers and various other criminal elements have been drawn to the system, and they now raid our shipping with near impunity.
The command below will trigger the "Pirates Sighted!" event in Stellaris:
