It seems that - despite the initial skepticism of our … - the signals we picked up truly did form their language, which is simply uniquely unpalatable to our …. While most of our attempted response did not make a great deal of sense to them, it seems that they are somewhat insulted by our poor imitation, especially since we had the misfortune to - repeatedly - make a sound that is very similar to one of the crudest insults used in their language. It will take quite some time for us to live down this first impression...
