Sapients throughout the … have been startled by a sudden, apparent hijacking of visual feeds which coincided with a burst of activity from ancient, domed sites discovered some years ago. Cascades of light were reported spilling out from sources deep underground, their beams cast squarely - and improbably - at our capitals. Our researchers on … are puzzled by this broadcast of dreamlike visions. It's unclear what it was intended for, and no subsequent phenomena have been reported which might lend us more clues. It would seem that we have simply missed an opportunity to study this phenomenon.
