The many impact craters on the planet's surface suggest this was most likely caused by an external celestial impact, such as a meteor storm. Contained within these obsidian formations are large bubbles of trapped sulfuric gasses from the volcanic vents now sealed by the flash freeze. With precise extraction, we will be able to harvest these resources for our own needs.
