Scandalous Insult

The … say they have taken offense at a misdemeanor carried out by one of our officials. They have not named the official, nor even described the nature of the insult. Instead we have received little more than a burst of indignation, and an abrupt end to communications. It's possible that this rare breach in diplomacy is the work of some other, meddling party; it could just as easily be an honest misunderstanding.
