Shroud-Touched Vessel
We have succeeded in reassembling the alien vessel. With the computer core online, it was possible to download and translate the ship's logs. It seems the vessel was an experimental prototype, designed to achieve faster-than-light travel by means of the Shroud. Although the final crew logs and external telemetry remain garbled, there is no doubt that something went badly wrong on the vessel's maiden voyage. The ship was not so much blown apart as disassembled, its component pieces spat out at random into normal space. The fate of the crew remains unknown.
