Somewhat Uplifted
The ascension process is complete, yet we have not ascended, due to the rapidly deteriorating state of BALDOR XXXXIII. Though the majority of our population still suffers from intense night terrors, the hypnopedia appears to have yielded some good results as they now show an unprecedented proficiency for scientific research and learning. For the unlucky citizens who were trapped in a vegetative state, the situation is more dire... Though most have regained consciousness, their minds seem to have caved under the pressure. It may not be a full ascension, but at least it is...something.
The command below will trigger the "Somewhat Uplifted" event in Stellaris:

- It could have been worse.
- Modifies Pops in … by adding the Somewhat Uplifted trait.
