The drop pods surrounding … have been drifting powerless for quite some time. The … reports that whatever aliens these pods were transporting are now but withered husks onboard, having evidently perished hundreds of years ago. One sole pod, however, has shown signs of onboard activity. While its engines are disabled, scans suggest its communications array is undamaged. We can hail them.
