The Galactic Defense Force

The Senate has ratified the creation of a standing multinational military force intended for the defense of the Galactic Community. This "Galactic Defense Force" will recruit its personnel from all Community members, who are also required to contribute resources towards the construction of its fleets. With the GDF being placed under the direct command of the …, the current Galactic Custodians, some fear that this potentially massive armada could be used as a tool of oppression. Others, however, applaud its creation, referring to it as "the galaxy's first line of defense."

The command below will trigger the "The Galactic Defense Force" event in Stellaris:

When this event fires, you can choose between these 4 options:

• The galaxy will become a safer place.
• We're doing our part.
• Good for them.
  Available only if Must not have ascension perk: Galactic Nemesis.
• This pathetic fleet will be exterminated to the last ship.
  Available only if Requires ascension perk: Galactic Nemesis.
