The drones' IFF modules had been removed, likely a result of the Head Researcher's repairs, but their threat assessment processors remained intact and somewhat stressed by the Head's invasive procedures. It is unlikely that the head meant for the drones to attack us, but fact remains that they covered the scientist's escape nicely. Consult the Situation Log for a Special Project to track the Head from their last known location.
