A Dimension of Static

The Dimensional Portal on … shut itself. When we stabilized the portal, we saw that it led to a dimension consisting solely of a white, formless void interrupted only by random streaks of black noise. The strange phenomenon instantly started to seep into our universe and consumed our dimensional stabilizers, collapsing the gateway. The portal, static, and dimensional stabilizers have all winked out of existence simultaneously. Nothing was left behind; not even trace particles. If the portal hadn't been unstable, who knows what kind of disaster might have occurred here.

The command below will trigger the "A Dimension of Static" event in Stellaris:

When this event fires, you can choose between the following option:

• Disconcerting.
  • The Portal site can still be studied, but it will provide less useful data.
  • Physics: +None to None
