There has been an accident. Due to a critical error, several trash pods orbiting … collided, causing large amounts of debris to enter the lower atmosphere. This has already limited the planet's spacefaring capabilities, and according to estimates, the situation could further worsen as the space trash continues to break down. However, launching an operation to collect the debris might prove long and costly.
The command below will trigger the "Veiled in Debris" event in Stellaris:

When this event fires, you can choose between these 3 options:
- Clean the orbit.
- Deploy the special units.
- Add deposit: Astrogarbage Unit
- Gain modifier: Trash Rings
- Start special project: Orbital Clean-Up
