It would appear the migrating forests we exterminated on … played a more vital role in the …'s ecology than previously thought. The wildfires we started and the absence of the forests have led to the extinction of several local species, resulting in a domino effect that has claimed several species of predators as well. Efforts are ongoing to at least partly restore the fragile ecological balance by introducing new flora and fauna from other worlds, but it is a difficult process that will take time.
The command below will trigger the "Ecological Damage" event in Stellaris:

- Unfortunate.
- Gain modifier: Damaged Ecology
