Strange Mesh

We find ourselves inside of an enormous mesh. Energy crackles rhythmically along its gridlike walls. A concentrated cloud of dark matter is suspended deep within this tangled web. Translucent tendrils probe outward against the energy barrier, sparking on contact before recoiling back. The ghostly particles move as if patterned. Whatever this spectral mass may be, it has not reacted to our presence.
