We have lost contact with the Rift Sphere. As is standard procedure, we have retracted the anchor and recovered the vessel. There is no evidence of any of our … remaining. However, their signature components can be detected among the massive root system that now occupies the entire inside of the cabin. The sphere itself has been transported elsewhere for further study. Perhaps we could plant it somewhere.
