Entangled

We have become entangled. While the Rift Sphere's smooth surface provides little purchase for the plants, our anchor cable has become wrapped from all directions in fibrous vines. Despite these obstructions, no plant matter could overcome our retraction if we want to return to safety and leave the rift. The biological matter we pull with us could likely be of some use. However, if we want to continue exploring forward, our only practical option will be to burn through the foliage. The resulting blaze will be highly intense. At such close proximity, we risk damaging our vessel.

When this event fires, you can choose between these 2 options:

• Burn the entangling vines.
  • Leads to event: The Hollow
• Pull anchor. Escape.
  • Leads to event: Escape
