Open Burial

What our … first mistook for asteroids have been revealed to be frozen, battered Tiyanki corpses reduced to shapeless lumps after decades in orbit. The entire asteroid ring is, in fact, just an open burial ground. Some of the bodies we acquired are recently deceased, while others predate our empire by thousand of years.
