Biocomputer Fossil

We have managed to extract some data fragments from a particularly well-preserved Baol biocomputer fossil! This ten million year old relic appears to contain pedagogical information, intended for immature members of the species. Not yet ready to receive the full range of the Hive Mind's neural connection, young Baol, or saplings, were introduced to growth techniques, horticulture, and nutrition in a more curated experience. These findings suggest Baol society prized terrestrial landscaping and ecosystem management, and were also highly dependent on it for their survival.
