Decoded ancient datacrystals have been found at the dig site, chronicling the Grunur's military exploits. While most are local and of little interest, several volumes detail the Grunur's first encounter with an alien species referred to as The Baol Organism. Little more can be gleaned about the Baol at this point, save that they were a massive, plantoid species, and had many colonies seeded among the stars.
