The raging waters are stuttered with sharp rocks, and have proven impassable along the team's chosen course. The resulting detour has had surprising consequences: the arrival of a gregarious troop of local simians. These slope-browed creatures have delighted in entertaining the expedition, arriving each night laden with an extremely potent variety of fermented berry. Although morale is higher than ever, progress continues to slow, and the project lead reports an alarming lack of initiative among the team.
