The Fumongus Listens Again
The "The Fumongus Listens Again" event in Stellaris — flavor, choices, and how to trigger it with the event console command.
The Fumongus Listens Again

The Mycelium Listening Array is finally operational. A significant supply of water has been brought from orbit to sate the ever-thirsty mushroom, and major upgrades have been made to the computing resources. Some mysteries remain, as we are still not sure how the mushroom manages to collect that much data from the rest of the galaxy. The number of signals traversing the network proved surprisingly low, considering the quantity of information conveyed. The most prominent theory posits that the Fumongus exists across dimensions where distances are not what we are used to. In any case, the Fumongus is in contact with its offspring across the galaxy, and these smaller colonies are able to relay data, which we can then interpret. With the network working again, the only decision left to make is whether to use it for surveillance, or not.
