The Messenger: A New Light

… has now sequenced the origins of the Messenger species. Coincidentally, they have also recreated a highly contagious virus. It stalks our worlds. Under its influence, our primary species falls into a chrysalis coma and emerges a day later as the Messenger species. These transformations are, understandably, causing some excitement.

The command below will trigger the "The Messenger: A New Light" event in Stellaris:

When this event fires, you can choose between these 3 options:

• This has gone too far. Now we end it. Control the outbreak.
  • All pops on the capital planet will be converted, but there it will end. Their appearance, ethics and traits are likely to undergo significant changes.
• Control the outbreak, and purge all affected citizens.
  • This will Purge all affected Pops: nearly the entire population of ….
• What was, shall be. We will change. Bring me a sample of the virus.
  • This will transform our entire species. Our appearance, ethics and traits are likely to undergo significant changes.
