This command regenerates map names.

Quick overview

The map_names command in Stellaris is used to regenerate map names in the game.

This command can be helpful in situations where you feel that the generated map names are not satisfactory or repetitive. By using this command, the game will generate new names for all the elements on the map, such as planets, star systems, and celestial bodies.

How to open the console

Open the command console in Stellaris by pressing the tilde key ~ while in-game. Depending on your keyboard layout, try one of these instead:

~Shift + 2Shift + 3Alt + 2 + 1
