In-depth description

The federation_add_cohesion_speed command in Stellaris adds a specified amount of Monthly Cohesion to the Federation. By default, if you don't specify an amount, this command adds 10 Cohesion.

Federation Cohesion is a concept within the game that represents the unity and collaboration of the different empires within a Federation.

A higher cohesion means a better functioning Federation, leading to greater benefits for all of its members. It's also key in progressing a Federation's level, which in turn unlocks powerful bonuses for members.

This command is highly useful in stabilizing your Federation and preventing it from breaking apart, especially during times of internal conflict or disagreement. If the Federation's cohesion gets too low, members become unhappy and may even leave.

You can use this command whenever you notice your Federation's cohesion declining or if you want to hasten the leveling-up process of the Federation. Additionally, empires with different ethics, traditions and policies can result in decreased cohesion, so using this command can help offset the disparity.

To use the command, you would just input federation_add_cohesion_speed [amount] in the console, replacing [amount] with the amount of Monthly Cohesion you want to add. If you don't specify an amount, the command will default to adding 10 Cohesion.

Keep in mind that as with many console commands, excessive use might disrupt the balance of your gameplay, so it's generally advised to use it judiciously.
