remove_trait_leader Command

Console command

This command removes leader trait ID from the specified leader ID.

remove_trait_leader [Leader Trait ID] [Leader ID]

Parameters

Leader Trait ID
The leader trait ID of the trait you wish to remove.
Leader ID
Number
The leader ID of the species you wish to remove the trait from.

Examples

Here are examples of how to use remove_trait_leader.

remove_trait_leader 1 leader_trait_adaptable
This command will remove the 'Adaptionist' to the leader with ID 1.
remove_trait_leader 2 leader_trait_bureaucrat
This command will remove the 'Bureaucrat' to the leader with ID 2.

Quick Overview

The remove_trait_leader command in Stellaris is used to remove certain traits from specific leaders in the game.

You would use it by typing remove_trait_leader followed by the ID of the trait you want to remove and the ID of the leader you want to remove it from.

For example, remove_trait_leader 1 10 would remove trait number 1 from leader number 10.

If you only enter the leader ID after the command, it will show all the current traits that the specified leader has.

How to Open the Command Console

In Stellaris, cheats are executed from the command console, a text box that you type commands into.

To open the command console press the ~(tilde) key, which is typically located under ESC (escape).

If your keyboard does not have that key, or pressing ~ does not work, try the following keys:

  • ~
  • SHIFT + 2
  • SHIFT + 3
  • ALT + 2 + 1

Type your command into the console, and then press ENTER .
