overnight Command

This command sets the game up for an overnight session.

overnight [Ticks per Turn]

Parameters

Ticks per Turn
Number
The amount of ticks you wish to 'skip' - e.g. with 3, the game would skip 3 ticks for every tick. Use '0' to turn off overnight mode.

Examples

Here are examples of how to use overnight.

overnight 5
This command causes the game to skip 5 ticks for every 1 tick in overnight mode.

How to Open the Command Console

In Stellaris, cheats are executed from the command console, a text box that you type commands into.

To open the command console press the ~(tilde) key, which is typically located under ESC (escape).

If your keyboard does not have that key, or pressing ~ does not work, try the following keys:

  • ~
  • SHIFT + 2
  • SHIFT + 3
  • ALT + 2 + 1

Type your command into the console, and then press ENTER .
