Stellaris Console Commands
|Description||Add a particular trait to a species. This is a cheat and will give you an advantage in the game.|

|How to Open Stellaris Command Console||To use console commands on Stellaris, you need to open the console window. To open the console window press the~ key, which is usually below the Esc key and to the left of the 1 key. Most commands can be turned off by typing in the command into the console again.|
This is a debug command that helps you get the game ready for overnight playing. The amount is the number of ticks per turn.
communications [Country ID]
This is a debug command that forces communications with a particular country.
This command will allow you to change the government.
Increase the skill level of all your leaders by the target amount. If you don't specify a target amount, the command will add 5 points.

This cheat forces the colonization of a particular planet. It will colonize the planet with a copy of the population ID you use.
window [Open or Close] [GUI Name]
This is a debug command usually used by developers. This command enables or disables the display of a GUI window.

surrender [Country ID] [War ID]
Surrender a particular war to a particular country. You will need to enter a country ID and a war ID.
Turn on all traditions. This is a cheat and will give you an advantage in the game.
This command will give you unity points. If you do not specify a quantity in the command, then the command will give you 500 points.
add_trait_leader [Leader ID] [Trait]
Give the leader a particular trait, such as slow breeder, delicious, erudite, robust, or more.
Turn on or off an ascension perk.
