How to Open Stellaris Command Console To use console commands on Stellaris, you need to open the console window. To open the console window press the~ key, which is usually below the Esc key and to the left of the 1 key. Most commands can be turned off by typing in the command into the console again.

This command will instantly force another empire into yours. Select their empire by typing in their ID.

skills [Quantity]
Increase the skill level of all your leaders by the target amount. If you don't specify a target amount, the command will add 5 points.

This is a debug command usually used by developers. This command will display the game version.

engineering [Quantity]
Add points to engineering. If you do not include a specified amount in the command, the command by default will give you 5,000 engineering points.

resource [Quantity] [Resource]
This command will give you a specified amount of a particular resource. If you do not specify a quantity in the command, then the command will give you 5,000 of that resource.

add_opinion [Main Empire] [Target Empire] [Quantity]
Change the main empire's opinion of the target empire. This command will improve the main empire's opinion. If you do not specify an amount, the command will increase the opinion by 40.
